Taj Mahal, Been there Done that

So here is it, our necessary Taj Mahal Blog posting. Sorry for the delay, the internet is a bit fuzzy up around here, plus we are busy. There are only two of us remember. O yah and these postings will not be in chronological order according to our trip, we are just posting what we want, when we want. Deal with it!

Anyways a couple of days ago we went to the Taj Mahal. I took some pictures so Rami is the only one in them (if he is in them, sometimes you just gotta have the scenery, no friends allowed) So here are the pictures....

This is Rami in front of the First Gate, why he decided to bring a flashlight I have no idea, maybe he will explain in a future blog posting.

This is a side of the Second Gate. It was my attempt to simultaneously show off the great detail in everything but also the size and scale of it.

And there is Rami walking back to the camera after having just chatted with an Indian family. (More on that later)

The view of the Taj Mahal, look at all the people.

Front Steps of the Taj Mahal

Little peek inside the Taj Mahal. That is Exclusive! only VIP's get that.

So as mentioned earlier Rami had met a very nice Indian family while walking around the second Gate, we toured the rest of the Taj Mahal with them, and were invited to dinner afterwards at their restaurant. Of course we accepted, and we took lots of pictures of the entire family but for some reason only one was saved when we got back to the hotel. We are thinking a corrupt SD memory card might be to blame.

Of course the only pictured saved is not my most flattering, but at least you all can tell the food was good. O yah that's Mrs. Ranjit. No one gave me the countdown so I didnt realize I was supposed to be smiling. My Bad.

Everybody Say Hotel, Motel, Holiday IIIINNNNNN

Hi All,

It's been awhile since our posts, we are just way too busy. Too many sites, too many great people, too much awesome. But I thought I would post the prerequisite here is our hotel room, one of us eating breakfast, heres the lobby, etc. pictures.

This is the lobby for our hotel. Jealous Much?

And here is our bedroom...

And that is our bathroom. O what's that building in the background...hmmm.

I would have preferred a shower but after essentially saving 100+ lives they insisted on upgrading us to a better room. I like it and all but having to swipe your room card just to make the elevator go to your floor its a bit annoying. Guess that's the price to pay for privacy. O right I almost forgot the required here is one of us eating breakfast pictures......well here is Rami eating breakfast. It was a nice place, very close to the hotel. Not really sure if it was authentic Indian food, might have been a bit "Americanized" as it was so close to the hotel.

Rami eating a large breakfast. But when its complimentary, why not?
